A Visit to Westergate House

On 7th March 2008 Sue was invited to Westergate House Care Home, Denmans Lane, Fontwell, West Sussex.

Sue was warmly greeted by staff member Vanessa Cannon who had arranged a lovely surprise in the main living room.

Staff had worked wonders decorating a room with Union Jack bunting and Flags. The very generous and kind residents waved Union Jack flags ensuring the visit was a really special event. Everyone at the home donated so many kind gifts that have now been sent to our brave service personnel in Afghanistan and Iraq. Westergate House has offered Thank the Forces a stall at the Westergate House Summer Fete on the 9th August 2008, so put the date in your diary and come along and meet us. A great big thank you must go to all the lovely residents and staff of Westergate House.

Westergate House is now a permanent ‘drop off’ point for all who wish to donate gifts in the Chichester, West Sussex area.
