It was one hot afternoon on the yard when the parcels arrived. Being the first time receiving such a parcel, we didn’t know where it came from. We got one of the sappers to open them and wow…. there were our fantasy snacks and travel packs.
Everyone pounced on it like wounded lions, or more like tramps on chips. God!!! It was nice and tasty. Whilst enjoying it, I said to myself “so there are people out there appreciating what we are doing”. The feeing did pump loads of moral into our system. It gave us strength our hard training never did.
